RNAS Culdrose donate to Cornwall Blood Bikes

RNAS Culdrose Air Department held a families day at the Air Station in Helston on the 26 October 2016.  This was a fun afternoon for families of personnel employed within the department, which includes Air Traffic Control, Meteorological section, Fire section, Royal Naval School of flight deck operations and Intelligence.

RNAS Culdrose is an integral part of the Cornish community as are the Cornwall Blood Bikes and it was an honour for us to be invited and thought of by the Station.

A raffle was held at the end of the afternoon, and all the proceeds from the event were divided between Naval Charities and Cornwall Blood Bikes.

A cheque for £1000 was presented to Brendan Hale, Cornwall Blood Bikes by Sub Lt Natalie Brierley and Flt Sgt Melissa Brown.  Also in attendance were Lt Cdr. Stephen Gamble, LAC Jon Forbes and Mark Holroyd, Cornwall Blood Bikes.
