Cornwall Blood Bikes Chairman accepts cheque from UKG

Our chairman James Forder back in March accepted a very special cheque of £500.00 for Cornwall Blood Bikes from The UK Garrison of which James himself has been part of the Garrison for 5 years now and has 7 cleared costumes.

The UK Garrison was formed in 2000 and has gone on to become one of the foremost Star Wars costuming groups in the UK. They are a part of the constantly growing 501st Legion, itself the largest costuming organisation in the world.

The UKG are renowned for their high standard ‘movie accurate’ costumes, professionalism and dedication to fundraising for charity.

Their goal of being the very best at what they do has been reached and surpassed enabling the members be present at the highest level of Star Wars related events and work with some of the biggest names in the Star Wars industry.

More can be found about their work at

Every year in addition to donating money to their chosen charities the UKG has the UKG Members Charity Fund where club members can nominate charities that mean something personal to them.
James has been with Cornwall Blood Bikes from its humble beginnings and has at one time or another taken on many if not all committee roles, as well as being a coordinator and advanced fleet bike rider, always with the charities best interests at the forefront.

The UKG has supported us at both of our CBB open days and this year with this generous donation to help keep our wheels turning.
A huge heartfelt thank you to the UK Garrison from at Cornwall Blood Bikes for their continued support
