Every year the St Buryan committee nominate charities and good cause to be beneficiaries from their fundraising efforts
In 2024 the St Buryan committee contacted our charity with the amazing news that they would like their fundraising monies to be used for us to purchase a second hand Blood Bike.
Our charity had recently bought a second hand bike which was still to be named and this was the perfect solution for the St Buryan Committee who aptly named BMW 6 “Spirit of St Buryan”.
The name really does sum up a wonderful area of West Penwith, who have a great community spirit where the continuing generations ensure that the classic golden era of vehicles is preserved for all our futures and history. CBB Volunteers love being involved in this two day event which is always held at the end of July.
The handover presentation took place on the first day at The Royal Cornwall Show 2024.
At the start of February 2025 the bike had covered 57,188 miles.
