A huge thank you to the staff and crew of the phenomena that is The Bloodhound Project who kindly invited volunteers from Cornwall Blood Bikes to have a look at the next awesome vehicle to attempt a 1000mph Land Speed Record. Bloodhound SSC had been at Cornwall Newquay Airport slow speed testing.
A viable new mode of transport for CBB???
We don’t think so.
In fact, the only thing in common between a Blood Bike and Bloodhound is that we share the colour orange.
To be near such an iconic piece of technology, meet the team including driver Andy Green and share in the excitement was truly an honour.
We do share one other thing, we are both pushing the boundaries of our organisations and always striving for better.
A very big thank you must go to our very own CBB Volunteer Fleet Bike rider Brendan Hale making this all possible.
